Did you know that last year Kraków was visited by almost 13 million tourists? The exact number provided by the Malopolska Tourist Organization is 12 million 900 thousand people. It's a really impressive number that grows year by year. Most foreign guests visit us from Germany, Great Britain, Italy, France and Spain. In connection with the upcoming holidays and the most intense time for travel and sightseeing, we have prepared for you a post about a significant issue that you often ask about.
If you plan to come to Krakow by car, you will surely be interested in some important matters regarding parking. Some of our locations have private parking spaces available to our guests. They are safe, mostly underground garages in closed properties with 24-hour security. We offer parking spaces in such locations as: Łobzowska, Daszyńskiego, Grzegórzecka, Szlak 50 (Angel City), Ariańska, Sandomierska and Kazimierza Wielkiego. Additional fee for a place is PLN 50 per night. If you are interested in renting a car park, just inform our reception desk, which will check availability and give details.
If your apartment is located in a different location than the ones given above, then you must know that Krakow is a heavily populated city with thousands of people coming to work and school every day. Therefore, the number of parking spaces is very limited, and finding a free piece of pavement in the middle of the day and the week can be quite a problem. The very center of Krakow is covered by a paid parking zone, which runs from 10:00 to 20:00 on all working days, that is, from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. The first hour of the car park costs PLN 3, the second one costs PLN 3.5, the third one is PLN 4.1, the fourth one and each subsequent PLN 3. You can also buy a full-day ticket for PLN 25 or weekly for PLN 125.
There is also the possibility of leaving the car in a guarded parking lot. If you need advice on where to find the nearest parking lot or in any other matter, please contact our reception, who will always be happy to help you :-)
